Bad news

Last night after work I found Socks very painful and colicking. We tried to load him up on pain meds and pull him out of it, but it just didn’t happen so had to let him go. We will miss that sassy little boy. 

Good news

Epic and I enjoyed a weekend at the first Pure Joy agility trial and had some great runs. He’s come so far I’m excited to get back to training with better weather and more daylight! And he finished his open chances title! We really loved all the pretty ribbons. 

And yes, Honey is still cute!

Honey!

Our first foster of 2022 is this adorable little girl. She and two siblings came from a shelter in Texas. She’s quite the princess but settling in well. I can’t imagine the apps we will get when they hit the website. 

Meanwhile, Twix continues to be Jerry’s work from home partner. 

And all of this is sleet, which let to a five day weekend for me as the clinic closed. 

Crafts

I bought a small cricut machine and it has provided endless hours of entertainment. My original purpose was to make candle decals. 

But of course there are so many options I’ve been making decals, bucket lights and keychains. It’s a bit out of control. 

And of course some camper decor!

Camping in the cold

We wanted to take the new camper out on a few short trips before we go to Kentucky for my half marathon. It’s still winterized so we just headed to Lebanon and made the chilly walk to the campground bathroom all weekend. We also were walking distance to the local brewery and were able to have some good dinners and meet up with friends. Epic approved of the new couch and overall we were pleased and can’t wait to use more of the features. 

Winter

As usual I’ve gotten a bit behind. We got another round of snow which allowed for some fun pics and some time off work. 

Epic's announcement

 Well, we didn't make any number one spots this year still, but for 2021 NADAC stats Epic was the Number 4 Australian Cattle Dog in Jumpers, 3 in Regular, 5 in Touch and Go, 2 in Jumpers and 6 in weavers! Shooting for even better next year!

Lickety Split 2022

Epic and Sweets and I went to Oklahoma for a few days to trial! Epic was a rock star and earned nine Qs including a chances Q. His weaves were much improved and overall he was running fantastic. 

Sweets earned an into jumpers Q and got some good experience. He also made a friend. The friend is not an agility dog lol. 

Back to reality

Cold and snow for a few days back home. But makes for good puppy pics!
