It's a he or a she

The days I work at the spay/neuter clinic I don't expect to see anything very interesting. But if this career has taught me anything, it's to expect the unexpected. 

So, this little terrier mix shows up for a spay, but has a little pink nub visible in her vulva. Closer inspection indicated it was a rudimentary penis. 

What we have here folks, is a hermaphrodite! Now, what would be on the inside?

Imagine our excitement when we found...a testicle!

In fact there were two testicles attached to a normal uterus right where ovaries would be. 

Ta-da! Officially "speutered."
