Holiday fun

 I’m sure these will post in random order but…

We spent an afternoon trying out the snow flex attraction which was pretty fun and we had great weather. Then we headed to the Ozark Xmas parade. 

For thanksgiving we had a long weekend at home and family came. Pumpkin pie was a big hit. The dogs and I got in a nice walk all four days. 

We got the Christmas decor up in record time! Jerry and the boys did the outside lights and most of the tree. I did the cactus and the rest of the indoor stuff. This has also required significant rearranging of plants but we made it work!

Kahlua continues to be cute as can be. And so does Epic  

Craft night

 This week we had our traditional Christmas craft night.  I would not say it was as successful as some of the previous years.  But I think everyone had fun.  And Carter was old enough to join in this year!

Exciting News

 Epic earned his NW3 last weekend! After our last dismal attempt I thought it was probably a mistake to try again so soon but in a true "hold my beer" moment Epic showed me what he was capable of.  He placed 3rd in containers, 2nd interiors, earned a few pronounced scores, and placed first overall!  In fact he was the only dog get a perfect score. He also finished his NW3 vehicle title.  For my part, I stayed calm, didn't overthink, and didn't over seach.  I'm so proud of both of us.  Now to see if we are going to get an elite dog someday!

Busy time

 Last weekend the boys went on a marathon of volunteering. They picked up trash Friday night then put in two 10 hour days working at the Nosework trial. Epic had a decent weekend, finished a title, getting 5 Qs and some other good tries. And some nice ribbons! 

This week the regional PAX coordinator visited our region. The boys made food and practiced their presentations. Then the whole group had dinner last night. 

Last camping

 We spent a chilly weekend in Lawrence a few weeks ago. I did agility. The boys did some volunteering and then we had some family time. The kids all had a great time hanging out!
