Or actually another happy beginning! Ribbon went to her new home today. She was adopted by a very nice couple who seem like they will have her very spoiled in no time! She has a big brother and was very excited to meet all of them today. She left sporting a brand new pink collar and leash with some brand new toys waiting for her in the car. We are very excited to get updates from her new family and see her grow up!
And don't worry, if you are missing all the cute puppy pics I still have some on my camera to post later!

Awwww, lucky new family and sounds like lucky Ribbon...do you know if they will be changing his name? Congrats on another dog you helped get a great start! I bet the house seems quiet without young Ribbon!

I believe they will be changing her name. But don't worry, our house is never quiet with our three wild children! But I did get to sleep late this morning-no taking puppy out in the cold!
Thanks for the kind words, Nicki. Yes, we've renamed Ribbon to Leeloo. She's certainly an energetic pup who's not afraid to tell big brother who's boss!
She's doing very well with her kennel so far (we were glad that Nicki had already started training). We've only had one minor accident so far because I was a bit too slow, and she's very good about walking over to the doggie door to let us know when she needs to go out.
Still some adjusting going on for all of us, but all in all not a bad first weekend. I'm sure we'll have some pix soon.
