Have yourself a muddy little Christmas

Southwest MO does not get a lot of snow. Nor is it warm enough to be called "nice." Therefore most days look like this. Dreary, damp, and cold. 

Festive huh? Not really the ideal time of year to take mandatory unpaid vacation but such is life. Catching up on sleep and couch time for sure.
