Michigan part 3

After the beach we hit a winery

Then went to sight see in the area to a lighthouse on another lovely beach 

Then we went on the silver lake sand dunes where you can hike pretty endlessly in the dunes and watched the sunset over the lake.

Next we went a little further north to explore some other areas. We spend some time on a few beaches. The first day was windy but then we got a really nice day later on. The water was a bit chilly but otherwise a perfect day.

Vacation update Michigan

We spent sometime at Lake Michigan  last week since the CE conference got cancelled. We took the camper and the dogs for our first big adventure. We spent the first very hot night in IL before heading off to better weather. Our first stop was at my friend Elaine’s house where we got to see two of our former fosters. She generously drove us and the dogs around to all the local sights and wineries.

At long last we got to attend an NW1! And Epic totally crushed it. He went right to odor and solidly alerted every single search. He blew away my expectations by earning first place overall (1:15:30), first in interiors and all around pronounced! 

Horse updates

Socks is doing well on his Cushing’s medication. Some days he even gets to go out to graze a bit!

Everyone chilling 

A friend had to downsize her farm recently so sweet girl Amirah has arrived for an indefinite stay. The boys are super excited but slowly calming down.
