After only 3 years we said good-bye to the Sonata. It was a fun car but was burning oil thanks to a bad Hyundai engine and recently had a semi-breakdown we suspect was related to this. Because I had been wanting an SUV to drive more regularly anyway without putting a ton a miles on the Yukon, and not wanting to spend a ton on gas we searched long and hard for this 2020 Highlander Hybrid. Hopefully I'll be driving it a very long time just like the truck!
We went a few weeks ago to MU to get Amirah's sarcoid removed. The procedure went well but she's has a lot of reaction to the chemo so it has been a long road of looking better then worse, then better, then worse! She goes for another tx this week.
More than a year in the making our clinic celebrated the grand opening of our new location! We are so excited to have such a great place to work and so much more space!
A lot has been happening lately! Epic and I have been to two Fast CAT events and in 8 runs he set 7 PRs concluding with a 7.895 seconds and his DCAT! And he even posed cute for photos at both events-maybe because it is his favorite sport he tolerates photos better!
Dasher got adopted to a nosework home and I'm super excited for him and his new mom!
Charlie did not get adopted and we are super bummed about that.
The new guy is Mann and he was a medical owner surrender. He has cancer and will have his leg amputated next week. He's a great dog and super easy to have around.
I finally got all the stuff submitted for the boys to get their AKC Trick Titles. Epic got both his novice and intermediate and Sweets got his novice!
We made a very chilly camping trip for a semi-local AKC scentwork trial. Epic had a great weekend getting 5 Qs, several placements and finishes this Container Advanced Elite title.
The next weekend we were off to Oklahoma for more agility. Epic did not have the best weekend. HE was very enthusiastic but not that accurate and took a lot of extra tunnels! But he did get a chances Q yay!
