Riding update

As usual it’s a challenge to figure out the balance of if his difficulties are from physical or mental/training issues. I’m sure it’s a combination of both but it’s hard to tell what to accept and what to make him work on. Reality-he’s never gonna be a great flat work horse. Which is ok, I just want him to be fun and listen to me. 

Out on the roads he had been great. Then a rabbit in the brush scared him and he’s been a little suspicious of weeds since then. But he’s getting over it. Today he had a fit over the person in their yard but I made him go anyway. 

We also visited the donkeys down the road.

In other news the cats think these new cushions are for them.
