For the larger area we decided to paint two parallel walls green and sponge paint with purple and yellow, and do the other two parallel walls like we did in the small room. We thought it would look cool and keep the room from being so dark.
The rest of my "in-between" pictures were not taken in very good light so I'm skipping ahead to the finished product. I know it's what you've all been waiting for anyway!
Other than getting a little paint on the ceiling and on the carpet I only had one significant mishap. While I was cleaning up I realized I'm missed a section of wall while doing the yellow sponging. But I had already tossed out the sponge I had been using and had to use a different one which made different looking marks in that area. Oh well. I thought the rest turned out pretty good.
It looks nice. I like the contrast of the green. I really like green and purple together.
Your bathroom turned out great!
What a lot of work! Looks nice. Diana
I think you deserve a bubble bath and a nice drink in your new bathroom!
It looks really good! Now, would you like to come paint my kitchen??
That looks fantastic! Are you sure you don't want to add a nice wallpaper border? Ha-ha.
